EMR software for West African hospitals, clinics, labs and pharmacies

MediLink is an electronic medical record system that covers the whole visit — registration, clinical notes, laboratory and radiology orders, pharmacy dispensing and billing — in one facility workspace that keeps working when the connection does not.

What the EMR covers

Patient registration

Register a patient once and issue a permanent MediLink ID with photo, blood group, allergies, emergency contacts and insurance details. Identity is verified against a national ID or a confirmed phone number before any record is shared.

Electronic health records

One longitudinal chart per person: vitals, triage, encounter notes, diagnoses, procedures, medicines and discharge or follow-up summaries — each entry stamped with the clinician, facility and time.

Doctor and nurse portals

Nurses run check-in, triage and the medication administration record. Doctors work a consultation queue, write notes and orders, and sign structured discharge summaries into the chart.

Laboratory and radiology

Orders flow from the chart to the lab or imaging worklist, with specimen tracking, reference ranges, abnormal-result flags and reports that return to the ordering clinician and the patient portal.

Pharmacy and inventory

Prescriptions reach the dispensing counter with stock on hand, batch and expiry tracking on a first-expiry-first-out basis, and dispense records written back to the patient's medication history.

Billing and payments

Invoice in local currency — LRD, SLE or GNF — with insurance cover, cash reconciliation and mobile money collection through Orange Money and MTN MoMo.

Why facilities choose MediLink

Built for unreliable connectivity

Installable on any phone or laptop as a progressive web app. Staff keep reading cached charts and recording new work offline; queued writes sync when the network returns.

Consent, roles and audit by default

A central permission engine maps every role to explicit view, create, edit, approve, export and delete rights, with time-bound access grants and append-only audit logs.

Multi-country from day one

Currency, language, licensing and health-ID format are data. Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea ship in version 1.0; new markets are configuration, not a rebuild.

Common questions

Does the EMR work when the internet drops?
Yes. MediLink installs as a progressive web app, caches the records staff already opened and queues new entries on the device, syncing them once connectivity returns.
Can records move between facilities?
Each patient holds a permanent MediLink ID. Records stay scoped to the facility that created them and reach another facility only through a patient consent grant or a referral.
Which countries and currencies are supported?
Version 1.0 covers Liberia (LRD), Sierra Leone (SLE) and Guinea (GNF). Countries, currencies, languages and health-ID formats are configuration, so more markets are added without new code.
